Recipe:
1 Part Lavender
1 Part Frankincense
1 Part Rosemary
2 Part Rosebuds
Jojoba Oil
My first Imbolc/alter. I honestly don’t know what I’m doing but it felt good and I had bits and pieces of the things I want in my life this year/spring. Calm jar for keeping my cool, rose quartz for self-love and all other love, sodalite for a solid path, citrine for energy and prosperity, friendship bracelet and horse chestnut from a lovely friend in Sweden - inviting solid friendships, amethyst for psychic abilities, smokey quartz for dispelling negativity, a “get a move on” crystal bag full of crystals to keep me going/get me motivated, dream catcher for solid dreams, stone stegosaurus from my partner (it just makes me happy), psychedelic bear animal totem, lavender and sage for cleansing in an abalone shell dug up from my back yard, white candles, and lavender picked from the garden.
I spent the day helping a friend clean her house, and then sitting in my back yard with my cats. I thought about all things I’ve learned about Imbolc recently and how I’d like to incorporate them into my own life. How I’d like to give back to the earth and appreciate every bit of it.
